  • Upon diagnosis found igniton fuse blown. Replaced fuse and vehicle started. Vehicle ran very poorly, found misfires on Cylinder #2 Ignition Coil. #2 Ignition Coil shorting out, getting really hot, and blew the ignition fuse. Inspected spark plugs and found diodes worn down. Recommend new ignition coil and spark plugs.

Found a frame ground that the connector was corroded. Replaced connector – Cleared codes & test drove over 200 miles. No codes returned and no issues were present.

  • The noise is due to lifters either failing or needing cleaned. Performed and oil change and added an additive to try and clean the lifters if sticky. Need to drive vehicle and see if ticking goes away. If noise doesn't go away engine will need lifters replaced. The oil pressure is due to the oil pump is getting weak and will need replaced.

  • Found front brakes are good but the rears are down to almost 20%. Replaced rear pads and rotors.
  • Replace rear brake pads. Replace rear brake rotors. Clean and lubricate brake calipers and slide mechanisms. Check and fill brake fluid. Bleed air from system. Road test vehicle.

  • Found there was actually 2 codes in the system. P0014B referring to the exhaust camshaft position system performance and P2119C referring to the throttle closed performance. The variable valve timing solenoid is failing internally causing the P0014 code. This part is part of the timing system and will affect the way the vehicle performs. The other code is for the throttle body. The throttle body is failing internally. The throttle portion which is controlled by the pcm isn't opening and closing when commanded. Replaced both components and cleared the codes. Vehicle is operating as designed.
